School Challenge: Parents and school could not agree on IEP accommodations in reference to school aide and IEP goals were not detailed for appropriate services.
Opportunity: Create specific and measurable goals and objectives; targeted accommodations, and provided a recommended sensory diet schedule for their child so that he could stay more focused during the day, therefore, eliminating more than 50% of his off-task behaviors.
Results: Child was able to spend more time in the general education classroom with his peers and parents were ecstatic to see his social opportunities expand and thrive.

Case Study #2
Client: Parents of a young lady aged 8 years old
School Challenge: Parents were concerned when their daughter was repeatedly left out of general ed activities, therefore, creating a climate of isolation and stigmatization.
Opportunity: Implemented a detailed targeted schedule for teachers to follow on a daily basis to ensure the child was included in all aspects of the general ed classroom setting with her peers.
Results: Within one week of implementation, reports came back to parents that the participation in the classroom resulted in inclusion in playground activities as well as sitting with the same peers in the lunchroom.

Client: Parents of a young man aged 11 years old
School Challenge: Parents wanted their son to have social and pragmatic language deficits addressed so that he could easily communicate with friends and reduce aggressive behaviors of concern
Opportunity: Requested and received IEE in the area of Speech and Language and after discussion with the school were able to come to agreement on targets, goals, and objectives.
Results: Child began making progress and began to self-advocate for himself in both academic and social settings..
